DescriptionThis report, dated February 4, 1873, was submitted by N. P. Langford, first Superintendent of Yellowstone National Park, and is the first of what would become annual reports from the Yellowstone Park Superintendent to the Secretary of the Interior. In this report, Langford describes the general natural phenomenon of the area including game, thermal features, general geography, travel routes and potential visitor access and attractions.
