Letter from the Secretary of the Interior, unsigned, to E.C. Waters informing him of the arrest of one of his employees for poaching and warning of consequences if something similar occurs again, dated October 11, 1893.

DescriptionLetter from Secretary of the Interior, unsigned, to E.C. Waters, President of the Yellowstone Lake Boat Company, informing him that one of his employees, William Boardman, has been caught trying to smuggle poaching equipment into the Park, and as a result has been ejected & forbidden from the Park. Waters is also warned that he is responsible for the conduct of his employees and faces similar punishment if his employees engage in similar activities in the future.
