Collection Summary“The Human Side of Energy: Stories from Rosebud County,” Photographs and Presentations by Wes Chapman, is a collection of photographs captured by Wes Chapman during the 1970s and 1980s in Rosebud County, MT. Chapman, of Ashland, Oregon, was present in Colstrip, Montana during the massive construction of the Colstrip Steam Electric Station. These photographs document the part of construction often left out: the people who were there. This large collection was gifted to the Schoolhouse History & Art Center in 2017.
