DescriptionThe video starts by showing historic photos and post cards of different areas in Yellowstone National Park. After the photos, the video shows Sam Holbrook roving at Great Fountain Geyser answering questions of visitors at the geyser. The formal interpretive talk was given by Butch Bach and Sam Holbrook. The talk was an old interpretive walk titled Sparkling Springs and Streams. The program had been discontinued for several years but the walk was given upon request for recording purposes. Ranger Holbrook and Ranger Bach lead the group around the geyser basin discussing topics of geysers and hot springs, wildfires, trees, and wildlife. The group stops at Diamond Spring, Octopus Springs, Pine Springs, Buffalo Spring, Five Sisters Spring, and several others.
