DescriptionIn this video, Ranger Rick McIntyre gives a presentation on the wolf reintroduction project at the Tower campground. McIntyre starts his program with discussing his background with wolves working in Alaska. McIntyre continues by talking about the history of human interactions between people and wolves in the early days of the USA. Ranger McIntyre detailed the decline of the wolf population in the US by showing the ways federal agents killed the wolves. The presentation goes on to discuss wolves being placed on the endangered species list. McIntyre continues with the Yellowstone wolf reintroduction and the impact of these animals on the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem. The presentation ends with the discussion of wolf reintroduction projects in other places.
