There are over 10,000 photographs in this image collection onsite with dates ranging from 1896-1993; digitization and addition of images to this digital image collection is ongoing.
The United States Forest Service Northern Region (also known as Region One) consists of twelve national forests and one national grassland across five states (Montana, Idaho, Washington, North Dakota and South Dakota).
