DescriptionInvitation for the rededication of Leo Pocha Park in Helena and the new Medicine Wheel Sculptural Installation, which was part of a larger Rodney Street art project in 2023. Invitation includes Leo Pocha's campaign photo from the late 1970s, pictures of the sculpture (created by James Walter), a picture of people around a drum, and a picture of a woman and child by the sculpture. The city dedicated the park to Leo Pocha (Little Shell) after he died because he had fought to prevent a highway bypass that would have destroyed the entire South Rodney neighborhood (including the area that became this park.)
