DescriptionThis letter from the Acting Secretary of the Interior, Thomas Ryan, to the Acting Superintendent of Yellowstone, John Pitcher, details the reports from the Yellowstone Park Association, YPA, and John Pitcher in regards to the allegations from James Fullerton and the sale of liquor in Yellowstone. Both the YPA and Pitcher deny the allegations of any wrong doing and state that liquor is not openly sold in any of the hotels. Ryan finishes the letter by asking Pitcher to make sure the companies within Yellowstone are being faithful to the terms of their contracts.
