DescriptionThis letter from Edward M. Dawson, Representative of the Department of the Interior for the Board of Government Exhibits, Louisiana Purchase Exposition, to John Pitcher, Acting Superintendent of Yellowstone, requested suggestions for an exhibit showcasing Yellowstone at the Louisiana Purchase Exposition. Dawson suggested having moving pictures as part of the exhibit. He asked if a phonograph of moving image showing geysers, the stagecoach system, or bears feeding would be feasible.
