DescriptionThis letter from the Acting Secretary of the Interior, Thomas Ryan, to the Acting Superintendent of Yellowstone, John Pitcher, approved W. W. Wylie of Bozeman, Montana for a license to guide camping parties through Yellowstone. The license allowed Wylie to use forty wagons while guiding in Yellowstone. The letter allowed Wylie to keep cows at the permanent camps.
