John Powers was my uncle, but because his career was in political and commercial art, we saw very little of his work. Information I have seen on it has several errors concerning dates he worked for the ACM. The Butte Montana Standard published a full-page article on his long and varied career on Sunday, January 22, 1984, (page 16), shortly after his 80th birthday. It's well worth reading.
