DescriptionThe company purchased a site in 1927 consisting of a block on Fourth Avenue north adjoining the Northern Pacific Railroad Y in the northeast part of town. The Cannery was focusing on tomato varieties (John Baer, Red Head and Chalk's Early Jewel), and corn (Golden Bantam and Early Crosby) in 1927.
