DescriptionFirst Bank in Billings (July, 1882), block 111, looking Northeast (Montana Ave and 26th street). Stebbins, Post and Mund had branches in Wyoming, Montana and the Dakotas (at Deadwood by 1877). W. R. Stebbins (possibly a general agent of the Missouri and Western Telegraph Line in 1861), of Atchison, Kansas has opened a bank at Buffalo, Johnson county, Wyoming in 1883 - See Daily Globe, Atchison Globe, June 22, 1883.
