Anderson, Kathrine Davidson

DescriptionKathrine Davidson Anderson's father, Jesse Davidson homesteaded on the Huntley Irrigation Project. His first wife died of tuberculosis. Following her death, Jessie took their daughter Alice and moved back to Missouri. There he met and married Kathrine's mother. And had two children, Kathrine and Jack while living in Kansas. With the onset of the Great Depression, Jessie and his family moved back to the farm on the Huntley Project. He was later killed while working for the railroad. Kathrine spoke at length about her life long friendship with Mary Eunice Sanborn Cummins.
