Rapp, Phyllis Sherman

DescriptionI visited Phyllis Sherman Rapp in her home in Shepherd, Montana. Phyllis has an extensive background in family history and genealogy research. She had typed up her entire history and read it while I recorded her. She also shared photographs and a citizenship certificate for her grandfather, Fred Snyder/Franz Schneider who immigrated from Russia. Phyllis shared to story of her older brother Gary who drowned in Anita Reservoir. Her family history is also located in the book, ‘Sod 'n Seed 'n Tumbleweed'. Phyllis also has a great deal of information, including maps, about the 'Volga German Russians', from whom she descends.
