DescriptionLetter from H. L. Muldrow, First Assistant Secretary of Department of Interior, to Superintendent requesting corrections in quarterly report ending September 20, 1885. Expenditures for subsistence supplies for Superintendent and Assistants is not allowed; only the Chief Engineer's employees who are laborers and mechanics have subsistence supplies. The superintendent is allowed only 10 employees, not including game-keepers, laborers, hostlers or cooks.
