DescriptionResponse to Yellowstone Superintendent from H. M. Teller, Secretary of the Interior, regarding the amount of appropriations for the current fiscal year. Lieutenant Kingman, Engineer Officer, has also requested funds and the Superintendent is asked to reach an understanding with him about sharing the appropriation. The expenditure of funds for supplies for the subsistence of the Superintendent and his assistants is not permitted.
