DescriptionHester Ferguson Henshall was the wife of Doctor James A. Henshall, superintendent in charge of the U.S. Fish Commission Station near Bozeman, Montana. In August of 1903 or 1904, she and her husband traveled through Yellowstone National Park for a week. Collection contains a hard-bound typed journal (ca. Aug. 1904) entitled "Trip Through Yellowstone National Park." Journal includes illustrations by Miss Henshall of flor and fauna. It is illustrated with photographs, clippings, and the author's own watercolors and drawings. Some of the photographs are of the U.S. Fish Commission Station near Bozeman.
